A Week on Spatrian

Seven days with Alex, a made-up U16 player at school and in a club, to show how the four parts fit together: the player, their coach, their personal trainer and, if the family homeschools, the PE record. Each part works on its own. This week Alex happens to use all four.

Sample data. Alex is not a real player, and every number on this page is invented; what each day describes is how the product works.

MondayThe player

Wall passes, counted by ear

No team training today, so the plan gives Alex twenty minutes of their own. The phone lies on the grass by the wall. Three touches teach it the sound of Alex’s ball, and then the Audio Coach counts every pass and says when the rhythm starts to wobble, while there is still time to fix it.

The phone keeps the time of each touch and nothing else. No audio is stored or sent.

TuesdayCoaches

The coach sets a target

After practice Alex’s club coach proposes three hundred touches of Toe Taps and Sole Rolls by Friday. It lands only when a parent says yes. Because it is one of the drills the phone can hear, the count that comes back is touches the phone heard, not a number someone typed.

The coach’s team view is totals and counts. No row names a player and nobody is ranked.

WednesdayPersonal trainers

A session with the trainer, and a report that evening

Alex sees a personal trainer once a week. The trainer scores each drill as it happens and sends the family a private report: what they worked on, how it went and what to practice before next time. It opens from a link on any phone, with no account to make.

The homework it sets is counted by the family’s phone, the same way as Monday’s wall passes.

ThursdayThe player

Team practice, and today’s puzzle

The club trains tonight, so the plan asks only for ten minutes of touches before Alex leaves. On the bus there is the day’s puzzle: a pass to weigh, a door to close, a run to make. Each is finished when it is finished.

The week is planned around the team’s calendar. A plan, not a rule: nothing is logged until a session is done.

FridayThe player

The day before a match is light, and a skill is checked

With a match tomorrow, today is short. Alex goes back to wall passes after four days away, and the coach opens in silence: twenty touches, played cold, against Alex’s own steady rhythm from before. It held, so the harder work comes sooner.

Held, nearly held or not yet: each is the player against their own past, never anyone else.

SaturdayCoachesThe player

Match day

In the morning, a fifteen-minute warm-up the coach talks Alex through, and one thing to think about. The club coach runs the match on Spatrian, so the family sees the score and Alex’s own minutes as it happens. Afterwards, two questions for Alex, and the answers lead next week.

Alex’s matches list Alex’s own minutes and line, never a teammate’s numbers.

SundayThe playerHomeschool

Rest, and the week on a card

Sunday is rest. Monday morning brings a new Player Card: Alex’s own numbers from the week, in the kit Alex designed. A new best run turns it In-Form gold. It never rates Alex, and nobody else’s numbers are on it.

If the family homeschools, the same sessions are already PE minutes in the record: dated, in the portfolio, and in a transcript anyone can check at spatrian.com/verify. The family files it; someone else decides.

Each part on its own

Alex used all four this week. Nobody has to. A player needs no coach or trainer, a coach needs no family to sign up, and connecting is always the family’s choice.
