How to play
- You are the player with the gold ring and the ball. We attack the goal at the top.
- Pick a lettered choice, on the pitch or from the list, then press Play it.
- Wrong first time? You find out why, and get one more go. After two misses the answer is shown.
- Share your grid: green first time, amber second go, grey for “answer shown”. It never gives the answer away.
Rookie has one idea in the picture and the right answer in view, for players under 11. Pro is for 11 and up, and the obvious pass is usually the wrong one. Anyone can play both.
What it teaches
Every puzzle is built from a real situation and teaches one idea: find the free player, stay onside, pass away from pressure, the third-man run. The reasons are written by hand, so a wrong answer explains itself instead of just being wrong.
No ball, no pitch, no screen time spent watching. It is two minutes of thinking about the game, for the sofa or the car. Every cross is along the ground: no headers.
