Spatrian Is Opening to a Few Homeschool Families. Free.

We are taking in a small first group — few enough that we can read every piece of feedback and act on it. You get the product for one child, against your own state's requirements. We find out what a real family term breaks before anybody else arrives.

  • Free for the whole beta — three to six months. The 36-week curriculum, the compliance records and the Audio Coach, in full, for one child. The transcript can be read and checked on screen; downloading it, or the portfolio bundle, is a paid extra that opens when sales do.
  • Then six months free. Take part, and when the beta ends your family gets six more months of Spatrian at no cost. AI video analysis opens to every family then too, and if your monthly minutes run short you can buy more; nothing is bought for you.
  • No card, and nothing to cancel. There is nothing to pay now and no subscription behind this. We ask for an email address so we can offer you a place.

What we ask in return: use it with your children, and tell us plainly what is missing or wrong. In practice: in your first week, add a child, set your state and finish one lesson; then, once every two weeks, sign in, log at least one drill or lesson, and answer the one to three questions the app asks. Families who keep that up keep their place and the six free months, and six fortnights in a row makes you a Founding Family; places that go unused are offered to the next family waiting. The detail is in the Beta Terms.

Join the waiting list

Places are limited, so the list is a queue rather than a place. We will email you when one opens.

We send one email to check the address is yours, and nothing else until you click the link in it. After that: an email when a place opens, and three short notes about the free tools while you wait. Every message we ever send can be unsubscribed from in one click.

Nobody Fails PE.
They Fail the Paperwork.

Your child ran, played and got measurably fitter this year. None of it counts until somebody else can read it.

Show me the physical education hours for this year.”

The one sentence a whole year of PE comes down to — at a portfolio review, an evaluator visit, or an admissions desk.
A parent at a kitchen table in the evening, surrounded by handwritten notebooks and loose paper, working out what happened this year.
The year was real. Reconstructing it in April, from a calendar and a memory, is the part that fails.

Answering from memory

  • A calendar that says “park day”, and a guess at how long it ran
  • A year reconstructed in one weekend in April, from photographs
  • “They played a lot of soccer” — true, and unreadable as a credit
  • A grade you can defend to yourself, but not to anyone else

The work was real. The record is not.

Answering from the record

  • Every finished lesson already logged, dated, to the minute
  • Credits counted from those hours at your state’s hours-per-credit figure
  • Rubric scores, quizzes and reflections kept beside the hours as evidence
  • A fingerprint anyone can check for themselves, without phoning you

You do not answer the question. The file does.

The difference is not how hard you worked. It is whether the hours were written down as they happened.

Everything a Homeschool PE Curriculum Needs

Compliance, curriculum, a coach who does the talking, and performance tracking — all in one platform.

The Record, Without the Clipboard

Every finished session becomes documented instructional time.

Hours, skill progressions and assessments are logged as they happen — and so is the PE you do without us, from karate to a Saturday hike, kept on its own side of the line. All of it is packaged into a parent-issued transcript, mapped to your state’s requirements.

Core

A Done-For-You 36-Week Curriculum

No lesson planning. Open it and go outside.

A programme built on football, laid out across the year in five phases and banded U14 to U18, with drill progressions built in and a staged return after an injury. You do not need a PE degree to teach it.

Core

An Audio Coach That Runs the Session

Press play, put the phone down, and go outside.

Every drill carries a written coaching track and the Audio Coach speaks it on the clock. Hear a real minute of it below ↓ or read how it works.

New

A Coach Who Knows Your Child’s Record

Ask what to do this week, get an answer built on real numbers.

Coach Spatrian reads the age band, the state requirement and the hours you have actually logged — and never writes to your log without your tap.

New

Real Performance Tracking

Skill development your family can show, and owns outright.

Video-based skill tracking from a phone camera: film a skill, check it against its coaching points frame by frame, and keep the clips in your child’s portfolio, held in your account.

Core

Fitness You Can Actually Measure

Four times a year, find out where your child really stands.

A guided combine you run in the backyard — eight tests, from a 20 m sprint to a plank hold — with every band citing its source, the four still on our own working scale marked provisional, and the growth spurt tracked so a dip in speed reads as biology.

New

Your Child’s Coach, Out Loud

You should not have to read instructions off a phone while your child waits. Every drill carries a written coaching track, and the Audio Coach speaks it on the clock. Here is a real minute of it — no account, nothing logged.

A teenager mid-squat on a back lawn while her phone lies face-down on a garden wall in the foreground, nobody holding it.
The phone is on the wall and the session is still running. That is the whole idea.
0:00 / 1:00

Press play to hear what a drill sounds like.

  • Loading the sample script…
  • It keeps the time, not you Cues are placed second by second through the drill, so nobody is watching a stopwatch.
  • Pick the voice and how much it says Choose from the coach voices we offer, and turn the talking down to quiet if your child finds it busy.
  • Works out of signal Save a drill’s audio for offline, open the drill before you lose signal, and it plays in a park with no bars.
  • Finishes as documented minutes A completed drill is written to the compliance log as instructional time — the same log the transcript is built from.
  • On four drills, it hears the ball Lay the phone on the grass and it counts each touch, notices when the rhythm slips and says so while there is time to fix it. Nothing is recorded or sent: a small sound model on the phone checks each touch and forgets it, and only the moment of each touch is kept. See the screens →
  • It checks what held When a drill it has heard before comes due for a check, it stays quiet for the first twenty touches, then says whether the skill held since last time and when it next needs a check. That verdict goes on the portfolio as evidence a skill was learned, not just practised. How it works →
  • It writes to you, too What to watch for before a drill, three sentences on what it heard after one, and a short coach’s note in your Monday email. Every number in them is your child’s own. What it says →

Every spoken line is printed on screen as well, so a deaf or hard-of-hearing student follows the same session. Where a voice recording has not been made yet, the player falls back to your device’s own voice and shows a note saying so, rather than going silent.

How the Audio Coach works — pacing, voices, accommodations, offline →

A Coach That Has Already Read the File

Most chat assistants know only what you type into them. This one is signed in to your account, so it starts from your child’s age band, your state’s requirement and the hours you have actually logged — and any drill it links you to comes from your own curriculum, never one it invented.

When it thinks a session is worth recording it proposes one and stops. Nothing reaches your compliance log until you tap the button — an AI figure must not walk into a document you may hand to your state.

See what it does
A parent standing at a kitchen counter in morning light, reading an answer on her phone.
We only got out twice this week. Are we behind?
Not badly. You’re at 62 of the 90 hours Pennsylvania expects, so 28 to go. Want me to set up a twenty-minute passing drill for tomorrow?

Illustration. The hours, state and drill in a real conversation come from your own account.

Two siblings playing one against one on a marked-out back lawn while a parent watches from a folding chair at the edge.
Saturday’s fixture. Forty minutes in the backyard, and the attendance record fills itself in at the final whistle.

Every Week Arrives Somewhere

A child in a club has a season — training builds to a match, the match gives a result, and the results add up. A child doing PE at home has a spreadsheet. The Season is the missing half: five challenges chosen from your own child’s record, about forty minutes in the backyard, and a table that keeps itself.

The minutes land on your attendance record when the match is finished, so the documentation is a by-product rather than a second chore. You play a fixed target for the age band — never another family’s child.

One row, because there is only ever one child in it. Three wins in a row moves you up a rung and the target gets harder.

The One Thing They Cannot Practice Alone

Technique needs nobody else. Decisions do — and a child training on their own sets the pace of every repetition, so nothing ever makes them scan and choose under pressure. Your phone calls a direction or a numbered cone while they dribble, faster each level, and you tap whether they got there.

Twelve levels, four kinds of call — including one where the call is the thing to resist. It logs as PE minutes, and it is only ever compared against your own child’s earlier sessions.

A teenager with a ball on a driveway, head up, watching a phone propped on a low tripod a few feet away.
“Left!”Straight
“Right!”Opposite
“Three… back!”Double

Three consecutive calls. A real session draws its order and timing fresh, so the pattern cannot be learned.

For the Days Nobody Goes Outside

Rain, a cast, a fortnight of January. The session is off and the child still wants something to do with the game. Six modes built on the material they are already working through — the unit checks for their age band, the coaching points of the drills in their programme, and the Laws of the Game as they are actually written, with every rules answer citing the clause that settles it.

Eight questions a session. Playing earns XP and moves nothing else: no minutes, no quiz average, and nothing that reaches a compliance record. An evening on the sofa is not an hour of PE.

You Make the CallSpoken

Six modes in all, for ages 13–18. The Coach’s Eye, Soccer IQ Quiz Time and How the Game Got Here complete the set.

Something to Play Every Day

A child in a club has reasons to turn up between sessions. The Clubhouse gives a child at home a reason every day: a rhythm to echo on the ball, a tactics puzzle, a great player every Monday with a move to earn, an escape room whose locks open with touches, a tour of famous grounds driven by their PE minutes, and a weekly trading card of their own measured numbers. Three more daily puzzles sit on the same pitch: how hard to play a pass, how to shut every passing lane, and where to run so the pass can reach you.

Each is finished in minutes and done until tomorrow. None of it is PE, none of it writes hours, and nothing in it compares your child with anyone else’s. Where the phone listens, it keeps the moment of each touch and nothing else.

Your Child Designs the Drill

A child draws a drill on a pitch — cones, players, runs, dribbles, passes, even a curled one — and watches it play itself. They try it once and send it to a grown-up. Once it is approved it belongs to the family, and everybody plays it: easier or harder, a left-foot version, and a best of their own.

A grown-up can share a drill into their co-op, or, with consent, send it to Spatrian’s library, where staff review it and publish it credited only by age group.

Family plan and above. Designing earns XP, never PE hours; nothing is ranked against another family; and nothing your child types is ever sent to an AI.

Curriculum for Middle and High School

A full 36-week PE curriculum, banded by age.

Three teenagers of different ages working at separate stations across a park field — a cone line, a plank, a shot at a small goal — while a parent moves between them.
One evening, three age bands. The week is the same shape for each child; the standard they are held to is not.

Read the full soccer PE curriculum — every unit and lesson

Or try a few first: soccer drills at home, with set-up and coaching points, and a space check for homeschool PE without a gym.

One child and a parent working from home? Over twenty of the drills are written for one child alone with a ball and a wall, and the tactics are taught on a board and from match clips. Your part is setting the lesson up and confirming the hours.

Up and Running in Minutes

No coaching experience required. We guide you through everything.

1

Complete Onboarding

Sign the activity waiver, review disclaimers, and set up your student profile. Select your child's age group to load the right curriculum.

2

Follow the Curriculum

Open each lesson for step-by-step activities with coaching points, equipment lists, and timing guides. Score each unit against its rubric as you finish it.

3

Document Progress

Upload skill videos, complete KWL journals, take quizzes, and tick off the skill tree — your child can sign in with a PIN of their own on a device you have paired, and mark sessions done for you to confirm. You record the PE you did elsewhere, and hours, badges and XP are counted as you go.

4

Generate Your Portfolio

Download the whole year in one ZIP file: the transcript, your signed attestations, the session logs and the legal disclaimer, with a fingerprint that shows if anything in it was changed afterwards.

Homeschool PE Requirements, Every US Jurisdiction

Each state asks something different of a homeschool family. Our registry holds a summary and a checklist for every one of them, and for 34 we have also researched the reporting schedule and the documents asked for. Select your state below to see what we hold, and how far it has been checked, or read the homeschool PE requirements by state, one page each.

  • Automatic Hour Tracking Know exactly how many PE hours you've logged, and how that compares with your state's minimum where it sets one
  • The PE You Did Yourself Karate on Tuesday, swim team on Thursday, three hours up a hill on Saturday. A session you taught counts as instruction; one a club taught is reported beside that total rather than inside it
  • Evidence the Device Heard A drill the Audio Coach listened to reaches the portfolio as a Rhythm Record and a Retention Record, and counts toward named skill standards rather than as unrated minutes
  • State-Specific Checklists See what documentation your state asks for, and where we read it
  • Parent-Issued PE Transcript Carnegie unit equivalents at your state’s hours-per-credit figure, a grade for each course, and a fingerprint anyone can check at /verify
  • Parent Attestation Sign, as the home educator, that the record is accurate — kept with a fingerprint of its own and carried in the portfolio bundle
  • Independent Verification Evaluators, umbrella schools, and colleges can check a transcript or Season Record’s fingerprint at spatrian.com/verify — no account needed

And a grade you can explain

A letter is only as good as what produced it. The course grade on your grading page weighs four kinds of work; the weights and the scale below are the defaults, and you can change both. The work behind each one stays in the portfolio.

Mini Quizzes

15%

165 questions across the three age groups, five to each unit, covering tactical terminology and athletic concepts. Auto-graded with running averages.

KWL Journals

25%

Reflective journal entries documenting prior knowledge, learning, and improvement. Scored on completion: ten entries earn the full mark.

Research Paper

30%

Famous Soccer Player research project with 4-criteria rubric: Tactical Evolution, Cognitive Habits & Geometry, Data & Physical Telemetry, Research Quality.

Stat Card & Reflection

30%

Personal stat card, SWOT analysis, coach perspective write-up, and program review. Builds self-assessment skills.

A Transcript Anyone Can Check

Every transcript you print carries a fingerprint of its record — a code that changes if a single figure does. An evaluator, umbrella school or admissions office looks it up in our public register — without an account, and without calling you — and sees the hours, year and grade we issued. A copy with one of them changed no longer agrees with the register.

Nothing is staged — /verify calls the same public endpoint an evaluator would, and the sample document is there to try it on.
